Had to put my baby to sleep
as she doesn't have winter boots...so washed her and covered her up...now for the long winter...
And my 135 doesn't have winter tires either as I never received my fourth SF-71 rim which I could have put some winter tires on and drove it until I sell it...I'll have to do with old faithful, my beater Audi A4 quattro... it was a sad day in the Rikx1M family |

Snowed yesterday so I put mine to sleep. Woke up this morning and there is no snow. Weather says it wont snow again til Saturday. I get to drive her for a few more days!
On a shitty note, I have a fuel leak by the drivers side rear wheel so now my whole house smells like a gas station. I obviously didnt know it was there til I smelled it this morning. BLAH! |

Yeah gonna be keeping mine garaged and will be zippin around in the MCS. Already looking at new summer tires for springtime. Probably go with the Mich PSS's. Looks like the weather is finally turning for the worst here too.

Great choice on putting the 1ers to bed for the winter. If the 135 got nicked up before you got it sold would be a downer. Keep the miles off and keep it pristine! I really hope I can do the same for mine by early next week. It's actually a bit more difficult than I thought to find a decent daily driver around here. And the price people are asking/paying is frustrating (2-2.5K over edmonds). Every decent Hondas/Mazda I've seen listed is gone in a day or two and before I can get down to see it.
Anyways here is to hoping everybodys ride makes it safely through the winter unscathed......and watch out for those SUVs with trailer hitches....at Starbucks.

Good thing we put our 1ers away for this ferocious winter . Im about ready to just start driving her again! (Although my insurance did go down by $2300 for storing the 135i and the Z4 )

I cannot tell a lie...I've brought my 1M out 3-4 times as the winter really hasn't hit in Heidelberg, never driving it below 40 degrees...got it today as a matter of fact. But the 135 is in storage saving it's resale value and insurance costs.
