Black on black is getting old.

Why? Because everyone is doing it and doing it wrong.
Putting nasty overly small or overly large diameter wheels when a cheap quality and ugly face with 4x4 wheel gaps.

When done correctly, it's a great reward, and not old.

I consider these cars highly annoying and in need of being squashed.

Never particularly liked black on black. Don't like chrome wheels either. Silver, gunmetal or anthracite accents on wheels are nice though.

Or, you can go real old school and go with gold.

Little bit of info..
Radar/Lazar has a much harder time picking up black exteriors, then lighter colors....takes more time.

Tony's garage is as sick as his racing history. He's also a super nice guy.

To the OP: I think you have the black on black (with silver trim) just about right with your Civic SI.

There are some colors that black rims don't work on....but black always goes with black!
