ASA GT2 Winter Wheels

I just purchased a set of 18" x 8" ASA GT2's for my winter tires from Tire Rack, I am really happy with how these wheels look in person, I can't wait to get my winters mounted and when the time comes see how they look on the car. These are certanly a good looking inexpensive wheel to consider as a dedicated winter wheel. Pictures later....

I got the 17's... if the temps would drop below 60 in Chicago I'd get them mounted up. I'm a +1 on the wheel and how it looks...

Maybe I'll see you around.. Your 1er isn't black is it?

Nice, what's the winter rubber? I'm remounting Goodyear Ultra Grip Performance winters from my Audi which is why I'm on 18"s.

It's been years since I've been on 2wd in the winter, I want snow!!

Crappiest pics ever.... but here they are.

Here is one of the full car.. sorry, I had an armload of groceries at the time (hence the blur). Then one of the close-up of the wheel with my ebay roundels.

I will take better pics when I get a free minute..

Resin filled, foil-backed domed logos. Identical scale/color to OEM. They were 60mm diameter for the GT2s.

Got them from ebay member jayracingparts. Fast shipping (from Thailand) and good communication from him.

I have ULTRAGRIP on my car here in Germany and they are super for rain or snow or ice. Actually today it was raining and I was doing 140 cruise speed in the autobahn on my way back from work.

Thanks for posting, those wheels look good! I'm having my winter tires mounted on my new GT2's this w/e, but I'm holding out on mounting the wheels until after the Thanksgiving holiday....hopefully when I get back next Sunday I won't regret waiting.

How did you get the 'ASA' logo off the wheel and replaced with the BMW one. What size are those BMW logo? Do they self stick? Should I place them before the wheel gets on the car?

Really love your setup but want to make sure I understand how getting the BMW logo in the wheel work. Thanks so much.
