Been beating myself up over a ~$65 dollar purchase for years. Finally bit the bullet the week before last. Genuine BMW luggage mat, and it matches my all-weather floor mats. Not that I ever haul anything that requires the mat, but I wanted it anyway.

Cleaned the interior, treated the leather and tidied the engine bay up. Very therapeutic

Keeee-rist man, do you ever actually touch your steering wheel?
My dimpled section is worn almost smooth in the mid & upper areas....

DIY d ring install at front end of trunk so I can, you know, tie stuff down. Having only front anchor points on American version is asinine (Euro version has them in a different spot but nonetheless they are there, providing 4 points for the cargo net or other straps).
Anyway, the anchor points are in the frame, so you just need the d ring and trim parts, cut the liner, and install. PM me if you are interested in part #'s. |

I don't think I like it TBH, the yellow is a much nicer look. Maybe a brighter green?
Granted, this is only a photoshop...

It's tough to get the color very close with Photoshop. Here is the color I would be doing if I went green. This is the actual wrap

I like that better. It's still not that crazy yellow I've grown to love...

Yeah, I do love it but I'll be changing so many panels coming up, it's the best time to change the color. I've always wanted to do a signal green car and I think once I go wide it'll be the best time to do it.

I think the widebody will do more to accentuate the color. I can't wait to see the results!

new owner so I started the weekend with a great country road drive! installed the ZHP shifter but it doesn't integrate with stock 128i boot - i realize there are DIY fixes but will probably look for proper boot. also installed the black kidney grilles but I'm on the fence - may decide to swap back. cheers!

Still, that's what I did when my parking brake boot separated. Looks clean, super easy fix...

Fun with INPA digging into my lack of ABS/DSC
If you have inpa this is who you get to this data: F2 -pop up window opens- Pick your chassis Pick Dynamic Stability F5 Then you can look at sensor data, Last edited by iminhell1; 10-21-2018 at 06:46 PM.. |

Sadly, track season's over and winter's rolling in, so I won't be getting to take it out as much as I want. I can still sit in the garage and make vroom vroom noises though... |
