I'd certainly hold this windshield guy accountable, especially since there are numerous electrical connections running under the carpet, a lot of which are safety-related...

This car seems to not like you very much...
Sadly the windshield got replaced over a year ago so i highly doubt they would do anything about it

Im having very bad luck with this car lol. I have to replace the entire rear end cause of rust. Suspension, brakes, subframe, everything.....
Dang, it's certainly becoming a cool project, though!

Kinda found out the problem to my entire wheel speed sensor/traction control issue. Took a sensor that was in good condition out of an e90 and put it in my car. It was fine for 2 minutes of driving then it started having its problems again. When i pulled the sensor out it was rounded off on the head. Im assuming wheel bearings?

Sounds like you might have installed it wrong, I had a bad wheel bearing for a long while and never had issues. A bad bearing makes a horrific rumbling and warbling sound, like you've got a Subaru following you everywhere...

about the subaru part.

I believe/hope i installed it right. Already went through about 6 of these sensors... Installed it the same way on the other side and it wasnt rounded off. Theres a good bit of rust in the rear so im very sure that has a lot to do about it.

It's escaping me how they're mounted exactly, but make sure the bracket isn't sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiightly ever so slightly bent, especially once the suspension is fully loaded and sitting on the ground (ramps might be helpful for this)

Here's the TIS documentation:
https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...onents/P7iby8I

My thought is that you may have gotten the wrong part and tried to stick a too-long sensor in a too-short hole. As everyone who has experience with this will tell you, you should replace it with a Genuine part. One of the few things you want to be Genuine...

They slide into the back side of the hub carrier (think thats what its called).

Maybe the top of where it goes in is just worn down a bit?

All the part numbers matched. The e90 and e82 use the same sensor. Maybe i am just over tightening it and pushing the sensor too far?

Could be...

Is there play in your bearing? It could be rubbing against the sensor...

Is your parking brake or caliper dragging? I've never heard of it happening, but you could be melting the sensor...

I'm at a loss at this point.

Havent checked. Parking brake and caliper are fine i think. Have had this issue for almost a year and havent found a single fix. Only one last thing to try is sawp out the entire rear end from another 128i and also fix the rust issue

Did a muffler delete. Upped my mpg by 5-6 and also gave me some more low end torque
