Working on car
Hey guys,
Anyone in the Los Angeles area who will be working on their car soon and would like to tackle the job together? I plan on replacing all the fluids in my 128 and wanted to use this opportunity to meet some other people on the forum. Looking forward to meeting fellow addicts! |

Yes, most clubs do not have "official" meets for this. It's the people you meet in club meetings that will help you. Someone who has a car like yours (or E90) or someone who lives close to you. The club also knows all the BMW indys who do the best work at reasonable prices. Many members will be willing to look over your shoulder as you do some work.

That's an interesting problem...replaced battery and windows don't work. Silly question but when was the last time you rolled your windows before changing your battery? I only ask because it's hard to see that it could be battery related and that could just be a coincidence. |

Whatever you do don't let your current battery go dead and sit in the car for a week. If you change it right away you should be good. I messed up because mine went dead and I was busy with other crap so I let my car sit for a couple weeks with a dead battery. Now my FRM module has failed and my turn signals, windows etc. won't roll down. total nightmare...
