Which blue? There are a few and all of them are beautiful. My old 1er was LeMans Blue. Very nice color.

Or Deep Sea Blue?

Edit: although I think the two you mentioned are more rare.

Tinted my headlights with a yellow tint. What I learned from this is that I still hate dealing with tints. It's a simple yet so hard job. lol

Did you use a heat gun? It makes the job so much easier!

The headlights look great, it has the vintage race car look going on.

Yes I did use the heat gun, it helped a lot on the corners. But I still had some grooves on the tint. I noticed driving it at night that it doesn't look too yellow, but from a driving perspective it improves the visibility.

That's what I was going for, I love vintage racing cars. I'm planing to track mine & want to have that look on my car.

TIS shut down

I didn't think this was worthy of a new thread as most of you are probably aware, but just in case....

Changed air filter, sparkplugs, and 3 coils. The Delphi coils that were in there came apart when pulling them out.

Yikes , good thing I thought to download it in case something like this happened. It was so much easier to navigate from the site though and I'll miss that bit.

On 3 of them, the rubber (more like silicone) and the spring/carbon resistor stayed on the sparkplug. I was able to salvage 2 of them, but the boot on the third was effed by the time I got it out. Replaced all 3 (with Bosch) to be safe.

Are you using it on a Windows7 or XP machine? It won't work on Win10 - at least for me it won't.

Get Oracle VirtualBox and make a Windows7 virtual machine. Install everything on that.

For tools? Windows 7 . I Was having issues trying to install bmw tools myself and ended up buying a laptop preloaded with the software on eBay. I've only used it twice, once for coding injectors once to bleed dsc/abs. Navigating the tis sucks using mostly search terms though I can tell you that.

I didn't think it was possible to make a virtual machine with Window10 Home?

I've got a Win7 machine retired from everything except Std Tools. I think I'm going to try to put TIS on it.
