nothing. power isnt being made until 6.25k RPM which means its only "thuper thweet" for a very small part of power band. which is not sweet at all.

It has more power than we have is got by 4300 rpm, and it doubles what we have by the time it hits 6500 rpm. It is an 11 second car. That's damn impressive for what it is.
I guess it takes a lot to impress you guys. |

The 2.0T from the link has a very similar setup engine-wise to our N54's. Direct injection, small engine, turbo'd! Only problem with the 2.0T is almost all the cars with the engine in it are front wheel drive, weighing 3200lbs or more. the APR stage 3 car with 385 hp/340lbs torque, bigger rubber ETC only ran a 12.8 at 111 or so on the 1/4 mile. It's impressive to see they've gotten the engine to 600hp, it just sucks that it isn't on a RWD application!
It's nice to see some inspiration on potential for our N54 though! |

and the thing is that that company has been doing these kind of apps for the 1.8 and newer 2.0 they have tons of experience and know how to tune....plus APR is also GREAT stuff.......i wish they would make software for the N54 talking serious power and a smooth powerband

2.0T has one turbo, with room for a much larger turbo to be installed. Our two snails are in an extremely tight spot to do much with. Not saying it is impossible, but it's certainly not easy, and having to replace two turbos instantly makes it likely to cost twice as much (or more) to do to our cars.
FWIW, I have APR's software on our B7 2.0T A4Q Avant.. which was one of the Christmas gifts to the wife last year. |

you hit the nail on the head^^^^it would cost prolly near 7k or more to do any kind of twin turbo swap...now a nice single im guessing would cost around 3-5k
