question about the twin turbos

he must be wrong but i read a recent review of Clarkson gives 135i Coupe 5 stars here is the link http://forums.mwerks.com/zerothread?id=3610155 says that the engine has a smaller turbo then a larger one for top end......ive been looking at the specs and ive never seen BMW mention the N54 has that kind of tubo setup in fact i read that one turbo for cyl 1-3 and the other for 4-6.....nothing about one small one big.....anyone else wanna comment?>

ya from what i read the N54 uses parallel turbo chargers...much liek the RB26DETT from the r34 nissan syline...much different than the sequential setup like the toyota supras....tho changing a few things around you can make the supra in a parallel like mode...

From what I have seen in person, both of the diesel's turbos are larger than 1 of the N54's turbos. But neither one would work on an N54. The turbos ont he N54 are pretty much the exhaust manifold/header for each respective "bank."
