It's all on BMWUSA.com under "Experience." To answer your question, it is free for you and a guest, includes a night in the Mariott with dinner the night before and breakfast the morning of. You drive a similar car. You do brake tests, slalom tests, road course, water wall avoidance, skidpad, SUV off road course, possibly more. From those I have read, it is worth it.

My thread has a lot of information in it if you have specific questions not in that thread, let me know and I will do my best to answer (I have done PCD twice). Also, a few of the Performance Center staff post on the Bimmerfest PCD board and are very helpful in answering any questions you may have.

Shipped, driven, or towed - that's all I can come up with. Although that makes me wonder - you're not using your car at PCD, so why does it really need to be there at all?

I did a performance pick up. And can say it is definitly worth it. It was a great experience really gave me a chance to see what the car could do with out beating on my brand new car. They express to you all the time NYC (Not You Car) Here is a write up about my experience from Boston Bimmer.

You have 2 options to get it home. Drive it or pay to have it shipped back. I drove mine home to CT put about 1k miles on it so pretty much got the break period over in 1 road trip.
