Rear/Side Sun Shades??
Does anyone have the Rear/Side sunshades that BMW offers for the 128/135?? I was thinking about getting them, but I was just wondering how they really look and if anyone has a review they can give. Like to they look cheap/dumb? And how do they look from outside the vehicle? And is it hard to see through them, for instance when checking the blind spot during lane changes and such? And how about looking out the back at night, would I need to constantly take them on and off every day?
If anyone has info, that would be great. Thanks! |

They look great, and work nicely. I have taken them out for the winter, but they act and look like a tinted window. It isn't hard to see through them, but it does cut down on the light. For example, no need to dim the mirror. You will be happy with them. It only takes a minute to put them in. You don't need to remove them daily.

shades
+1 on no need to dim the mirror. The tallest truck with the brightest highlights don't seem to bother me with the shades in place, I have never needed to adjust the mirror. As said before, the side shades look like factory tint from the exterior (a few feet away), they block sun, but you can still easily see out through them. 1st accessory I bought for my 128i, bought them before delivery and took them with me to Greenville; installed right after delivery, never had the need to remove them.
