I have to take back my previous statment. I tihnk you're right, the center opening is not as tall as previously assumed, but I do think it's wider than your render which is more in line with the 135i.

I can now see that the flat bar surface is not a skinny as the other photo leads on. See here:

heres the outline of what we will be seeing. just to end all the guessing and the what ifs and maybes cuz honestly in past posts about the M5 and even the E92 M3 i was able to make out the design. if you want a real review of the photoshop ask SCOTT he seems to know whats right and whats wrong. so heres the lines we see behind the cover.

P.S guys please try not to photoshop over my work, thank you.

I'm with you.
It looks different than the standard 1, but it also looks a bit, mmmm derivative. But then, how different can it really be and still look like a 1?
The hood needs a deeper crease, something to really make it pop.

The under cover pic looks like the hood does have deeper creases.
They even appear under the cover. If they were as soft as the standard hood, with a cover I don't think they would be as noticeable.

I hope they fix the pot belly pig line that runs under the doors.
It's a pointless line that melds with nothing, and has no sense of purpose other than to add unneeded thickness in that area.

Funny, I was just pointing this out to a friend of mine today when discussing the design features I don't like about the current 1-series coupe. However, you have to remember that the 1-series started as a hatchback. When you look at those versions (as shown below), this swoop line isn't so bad because it compliments the longer roof line up top and also conveys spaciousness, which you might expect from a hatchback.

In the sportier coupe version however, when they basically chopped out the hatchback part, that swoop line stands out against the shorter roof line, which caused an imbalance, that as you mentioned, gives the car its ugly pot belly look. I rather like the 1-series coupe's stubby proportions, but you're right - if they could just straighten that out for the coupes ( and make the headlights smaller ), it would make them look so much better. And then add the ///M treatments on top of that?

Heres alittle teaser of the start of the rear. ill work more on it once we get to see some of the real thing. but this is as much as i could make out behind that cover without guessing too much.

EEE can you move right a litle bit the M logo.Hahah It`s a joke !!
Seriously I think you reveal the 1M coupé before BMW Great job !!

p.s Why BMW make the pub of one series and 1M coupé with this color ?
It look more like a touring color than a sport color for me.

Cracking Job again, Alpine... I'll get started on tweaking it a little bit and then post for the community here. Only joking!

Cheers!
