If enough people cant make the changed plans then maybe we can rent a party room at bear mountain. Either have the restaurant cook us some food or bring heros and stuff like that to eat and have a bbq sometime in the summer. If anyone is bored call up bear mountain and see what they offer for get togethers. Maybe they have a big tent to rent for a few bucks per hour to keep the little rain off us. I have a short day tomorrow so ill try to call then if no one does.

Sunday's no good for me either. I prefer to be optimistic - there's a 60% chance it won't rain.
As an alternative, I'd think that Palisades Center would be a realistic place, if the meet goes on and it's raining. I'm not sure how realistic the Bear Mtn. Hotel room option is. |

I think we are getting more worked up about the rain then we should be. I was just looking at the forecast for bear mountain and its 40% change of rain in the AM. If we are meeting in the late afternoon then we should be fine. Worst case it rains for 10min and we wait it out inside. Atleast there is shelter and we arent meeting in some big open field.

ok just checked the hour by hour and the majority of rain is friday and thru the night.
By 9am it turns into showers and most likely by after noon will be moving on. Sticking to original TIME and date! April 5th 2pm. Bear Mountain. Please update if you are still coming esp if you are bringing meat or buns and other necessary items so i can re delegate. See you all soon!

Im still coming rain or shine with my burgers. I orginally said 24 but I'm going to up it. 24 is just enough for everyone to have one. I have to see what kind of packs they come in at the supermarket but I'm thinking closer to 30's or 40. I rather have too much then not enough.
Anyone have charcoal? Im not 100% sure but I think the bbq grills at bear mountain are stand up pits that use charcoal. |

Weather not looking good - I'll still go if its light rain, but if its heavy and downpouring, i'm afraid I'll have to pass on this one.
Keeping an eye on weather.com

This is turning into almost as much fun as the 5 months I waited for my car! hahaha
Since Mr. G37s (you know who you are) is out, I'll bring the condiments. (Kidding, NJKSC27...next time). |
