2013 128i M sport exhaust different than base? Magnaflow fitment question
Looking at the magnaflow exhaust number 16525 for my 2013 128i with the M sport package. Magnaflow only lists the base model and when I called them up they said the M sport rear bumper/diffuser is different and that it wont fit. Anyone know if the Magnaflow will fit on the 2013 128i with the M sport package? Are there any differences between the oem base model exhaust and m sport exhaust that would cause it not to fit? Thanks

According to the parts diagrams at REALOEM.com, it's the same muffler for coupe and convertible without regard to body kit.

The exhausts are exactly the same across all 128i models, regardless of packages or options.
Yes, the MSport uses the rear bumper and diffuser but the cutout is the same size and location. Plenty of people put a 135i rear bumper on the 128i without issue. Magnaflow doesn’t know what they’re talking about |
