Glad you showed them the little cars mean business

This is great man I really need to get a custom plate done up lol

Yesssss spread the addiction!!!

Your level of cleanliness is insane, my car has been so filthy lately, can't keep up with these random snowstorms

You're a monster, take this back immediately.

On to my update lol... went to india (pics at instagram.com/msteelio91), wife and I both got new jobs, and we got another puppy all in the span of a single month. That hasn't stopped me from doing more car stuff though

The new pup's name is Kara and she's a natural BMW lover Her and Apollo now have their own instagram as well lol (instagram.com/Apollo_and_Kara)

Car wise; did a full tune-up recently including coils, spark plugs, oil/filter, air filter, and cleaned my BMS cabin filters.

Had a local guy completely refinish my wheels and I am SOOOO happy with the results!!

And I also picked up and installed one of these sunglasses holders off ebay for $30, super happy to replace the useless grab handle and gain back some storage space in my door pocket.

[url=https://flic.kr/p/23Ym5aR]

My car is gross, but the wheels look great lol I've been driving it every day in whatever mother nature throws at me, and it's been on a few ski trips already.

Bonus puppy pics:

Very cool! Are you running winter tires?

No sir just Conti DWS 06's, they're great in up to a few inches of snow. Any more than that and I'm not driving anyway.

I have them, but do not like them. They ride and grip like runflats. Not sure I will keep them when winter is over.

Listed her for sale. She was always a weekend car, but now that I got a company car, I use it even less...so no point in keeping her. Hope she finds a good home.

Nice looking car! I'm sure it will go quickly especially with the services you've had done. Good luck!

SUNGLASSES HOLDER

I recall someone recently did one in place of the driver's grab handle, but, can't find the post. Anyone did this and where did you get it?

Thanks in advance.

Found out two of my closest friends bought new cars. Friend 1 bought an M2C, Friend 2 is buying a 2017 NSX Thursday. Friend me is now staring at pure stage 2 and wants to push "purchase". Friend me is also trying to overcome his inherent cheapness and plop down for an e92 M3 to try and sort of keep up.

In the middle of washing and claying (Nanoskin Autoscrub Medium) it. Ripped off the vinyl I installed (horridly) this weekend for the sunroof delete panel AAAND, a lot of the paint came with it. Crap.

ARGHH!

I'll either repaint it myself this weekend, and just leave it at that, or have a local paint shop paint a properly-glossy black (or Monaco Blue to match the car), and be FAR happier with it than if I did it myself. Body work isn't my thing (apparently). I'll get a hang of it eventually, but I don't want to experiment on the car I drive everyday. I also need to order a paint pen and do some touching-up of the roof because I was an angry idiot with a razor blade.

Finished washing. Paint feels amazing and glassy, but looks merely okay. Sunroof situation is frustrating, but #becauseracecar. I finally got this adhesive from the stick-on wide-angle mirror the P.O. put on the car. Took me two minutes to do...I've had the car for almost 2 awesome years now

PO mentioned several times how much I'll like the "rock chip guard" vinyl she had put on. I'm reluctant to pull it off for exactly this reason. Maybe I'll see if a shop can get it off without ruining the hood

It was rattle-can paint I used on the panel, so I wasn't too surprised, just frustrated. Such is life...

So, I did something stupid last night. Was replacing the tube on my bike, weather was too nice not to get in a ride. Thought I had the bike braced on top of the jack, well, the bike proved me wrong. Bike was stable as I walked away to grab the tube, next thing I see it's sitting on top of the hood. Damn.... Put in a nice ding and gouged the paint in 2 places. Most of the other scratches shown came out with a mild rubbing compound.

Oh well, the only person I have to blame for this is me. Time to order some Dr. Colorchip and fill the ding. Already have an appointment to get some other door dings addressed via dent dominator, so one more ding won't add any more money...

Coded the orientation of the PDC image to vertical. It's small, but, I don't have to think about right or left when looking at a horizontal image.

Oil change with Liqui Moly 5w-40 part# 2332 with the LL01 rating, & a fresh Mann filter. M1 was only in for ~1,900 miles (82335>84234) miles... was about 1800 too long...

Dropped in a new Pipercross oiled foam drop-in filter- Grieve about oiled filters all you want, but I've run oiled foam for years in the harshest environments you can imagine and have a thorough understanding of how they behave and what they do- gotta love oiled foam

Also replaced the radio/CIC controls with an OEM new "Infotainment System Cover" (part # 65129270248). So nice...
