Dom's AW 135i
Hi everyone. I am new to the forum. Have been lurking around for a while. I finally picked up my own 08 135i. I found this gem in Florida and drove it back home with my buddy. I immediately purchased some black lines off this forum and I am awaiting the 3"vrsf downpipe that I should receive at the end of the week and install this weekend.
[IMG]  [/IMG]On the way driving it home an 18 wheelers tire blew and flew into the front end of the car. so in turn I went with the 1m rep ft bumper. I am going to have my guy modify for 1m ducts.   future mod hopes: active autowerks or vrsf fmic afe or bms dci midpipes chargepipe with bov possibly ditch the dinan stage 2 tune and go with JB4 angel eyes led cf mirror caps |

Loving the car! Are those the performance side skirts and do you what hood that is?

yes. they are the performance side skirts and as far as the hood I am not certain. I believe it is a Hammann hood. By the way i love your cars color combo. very hard to find.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your 1er.
Bad news: Unlucky on the accident and the damage to your Performance front bumper. Good news: You have a new 1M replica front bumper. Looks good!  Never liked that Performance bumper. Love the 1M replica front bumper.

Thank you for the nice comments. And yes it came with HRE wheels. They need a little touch up though. Has some curb rash from previous owner. Tyring to mod it and make it my own.

Welcome, looks good! Possibly paint the hood and leave the dome and vents carbon?

I was actually thinking about painting the hood and leaving the vents carbon. I have been going back and forth on it right now. My painter suggested that he wrap it in vinyl for me first to see if I like

Finally got some time to get back to modding. Been busy with work and mother-in-law passed away. was able to install N55 midpipes as well as my vrsf downpipes and FMIC. After that 2 coil packs went out so I changed all plugs and coils as well as completing oil change and differential. Ordered chargepipe with tial bov and trying to decide on afe intake or bms.
Cut out brackets on 1m rep. lost one of my 1m ducts with my sister-in-law moving in so have not installed at this time. [IMG]  [IMG]  [/IMG] |

Thanks... and yes that is my buddy's supra. he had a 700 hp 2jz gs300 that was totaled and he found him a targa shell with no carpet, seats, motor, or tranny and has been restoring it.

So I purchased my Chargepipe with HKS SSQV and DCI a couple weeks ago and received the day I left for my business trip. I woke up this morning eager to install and dismantled to install. But, I made the mistake of ordering the short version instead of the long version. since i have the long elbow to the FMIC.
 figured since mine was a 2008 it was a no brainer. Should of done some better research. Getting in contact with Extreme Power House to see if I can get it taken of. aero catch pins being ordered also.. Then saving to make some changes |

I was able to get the ER long chargepipe and HKS BOV on last week with the BMS intake. I have to say that I love the sound. Big shout out to Extreme Powerhouse for working with me and getting it out to me quickly. Car is now FBO. I have to say I love the power. But, as my wife would say.... I have an addiction. Starting to save for LSD and either Vargas or RB turbos.
In the meantime I plan on getting the led angel eyes, short shifter, and some other aesthetic mods. |
