Latest Lease Money Factors and Residual for 2012 Vert

I've spent a good while searching but haven't found the latest money factors, residuals and BMW Cap cost reductions for 2012 135 convertibles. Can someone point me in the right direction or share what they've recently gotten for 36 months with 10K/yr?

Thanks,

Steve

Thanks. I'd like to compare what the dealer is telling me with what BMW Financial Services is actually offering to make sure I am getting quoted the best rates.

Residuals should be same regardless of dealer. It's the MF where dealers play games. Many mark up the MF for a little extra profit. Additionally, there are fees to contend with. Ask for a lease with the least money down from each of the dealers. This will include acquisition fee, security deposit etc: To keep payments down only choose options that really matter. For example, you can cut costs by ordering leather and no power seats instead of the expensive premium package. In your case you could go for a 128 convertible.

Thanks JPD..that's exactly what I'd like to pin down: whether the dealer is marking up the MF. I've seen financial terms lists that detail BMW Financial MF's and residuals. Apparently these are published monthly for each BMW model. I have seen previous months but not the current one for June 2011 and next week I'd like to see where I get the same list for July.

I am set on the 135 (will be moving to the 135 from a Pontiac G8 GXP with 412HP and would not consider the 128) and doing exactly what you suggest: keeping options to those I need. I'm going with Premium Pkg (I want the connectivity that comes with this), Cold weather Pkg and Sat Radio.

I am getting the sense many buyers don't go through the detailed math gymnastics on leases. I want to make sure I am getting a fair price on the car and a fair financial deal ...I'm not out to screw the dealer. I believe they should make a decent margin but I don't want to get screwed myself.

I may be wrong but the residuals for the 1 Series have not changed this year. There is a lease calculator on the web that can be helpful. You may want to look at the criteria for the lease calculator and then input the numbers from the dealer. Go to at least three dealers. You may want to use the internet desk, make sure you tell them that you are going to be firm on the MF and seek the best cap reduction that you can. Good luck. I ordered mine in May 2010 and the dealer made about $800.
