135 suspension- double check parts list
So this past weekend I had the 1'ers butt up in the air to do the RSFB inserts, and found my shock bump stop & tube totally failed & exposing the shaft to the sandy environment where I live (see pic below)
At 76+K miles it was time to replace struts & shocks anyway. Looks like I'll take this chance to replace all the bits around em, and toss in a set of Dinan camber plates as well. Can I get some eyes on my parts list? I'd like to make sure I'm not missing anything, as well as make the part numbers available to others that may search suspension refresh in the future. I'm using ECS prices here for one click convenience, except for the Koni/Eibach kit from TireRack. Prices may be better from other vendors, haven't really shopped around yet, ballpark dollars for now. Oh, and yes there are better kits out there, but the Koni Streets really just fit my needs, goals and budget- No track time in my future, not even auto-x, and I'd never use the adjustment abilities found in better units.

Not sure how well this will show up (doing this on my phone) but I’m in the same boat as you. I went through RealOEM and pulled all the part numbers I need to order. I’m replacing everything since I read that the time it takes to disassemble the old struts to get a few pieces of reusable hardware isn’t worth it - just buy the new parts for a few bucks. I also found that FCPEuro is consistently cheaper than ECS. With a mix of Genuine and Lemforder parts, and Bilstein+Eibach rather than the Koni kit, I am at about $1,150 for all the basic components (excludes Dinan camber plates). I can share a Google sheet with links in a few days if that helps too.

Hopefully someone who has had experience with this will chime in... but my understanding is bump stops should be matched to springs. Since you are going with Eibach's that lower from stock, are the the stock sport package/135i bumpstops right?

Bump stop part numbers were from RealOEM by VIN, so matched to the 135 (704) m sport suspension I'd guess
Eibach says ~ 1 to 1.2" drop, but not sure which suspension that's compared against. chadillac2000, which bump stops did you go with for your Koni Streets?

Same springs I assume. Are chadilliac and your car about the same weight (options, AT vs MT)? Just thinking if your car is much heavier will you be riding on the bumpstops more than is ideal.
Not trying to be a pain just tying to help - I owe you for the oil door.

No worries- this is input I'm looking for
I'd doubt the weight difference is enough to be concerned about. I suspect the fronts can be trimmed down if needed without disassembly. The rears I need to get in my hands to see what the deal is I pretty much just commute to work (with attitude... ) so doubt I'd be stressing em anyway
