Yea. Very useful indeed! My car is now on a ship called Porgy and it's at the north sea now. Are u on the east coast?

If you track carefully you can even use the webcams in the Panama Canal to spot the ship as it passes through.

As of this morning I was waiting at the port too!

I tried to look at that tracking info but the link to that page doesn't let you track. It looks as if the site is broken or no longer available without a login.

Have you figured out where to enter your VIN to get the boat info?

Just out of curiosity, can you track using the production number or just the VIN? I haven't received my VIN, but I have my production number. Should I be inquiring with my CA concerning the VIN?

same here... production finished and my 135i is waiting on a shipping vessle.. BMW needs to build a ship so it gets the cars here quicker..

waiting sucks.

My BMW's on the Faust! Scheduled for arrival at Port Hueneme on June 29th.

It's off the coast of Europe. See attached map.

Actually West Coast, but chances are the Faust will no longer broadcast its position once it gets out into the Atlantic. If it does then that is a plus.

Faust finally docked at Port Hueneme yesterday. Finally!

It's been fun tracking the Faust (call sign SLKQ). Tracked it the whole way on sailwx.info and there were only a couple days when its position wasn't tracked.

Faust is heading for Washington, Japan, and Korea next.
