Good Price for 2010 135 M-Sport
I am looking for a late model 2010 M-Sport in 6MT with low miles. I recently found one at the CarMax very close to my house. Although I do not really want to deal with CarMax because you cannot negotiate and I am sure their price is higher than it should be, I am curious what you all think of this price. It has all of the options I want and the exterior color I want, but I would have preferred the black interior. The car has the following setup:
2010 135 6800 miles LeMans/Gray/Poplar M-Sport Premium Cold Weather I-Drive iPod Rear Park Assist Sirius CarMax has the price listed for 35800. What do you think? Thanks! |

Go to KBB and see what the trade-in and the retail value is. That should give you an idea of what they paid and if their price is close.
I have looked at a few Carmax 135's and they are usually right in between trade-in and retail.

Unfortunately bargaining is not an option with CarMax. I have seen a bunch of similarly equipped cars available from private party sellers on this forum and elsewhere, but none are in the DC area, which would make buying them a pain... Is the extra 1-2k worth the ease of purchase?

According to KBB, the retail price is 40,005 and trade-in is 35,400. From those numbers, it looks like a really good deal. Maybe I am missing something. Thoughts? |
