Name the part!
Ok, who can name the part in the photo?
2008 BMW 135i E88 Automatic Note, I can't remove the OEM lower charge pipe and I'm guessing this assembly is why as I don't see it in an intercooler install instructions that say the pipe can be removed from below (in one piece!). And the winner is... |

Trans fluid cooler/heat exchanger
Has lines from both rad and trans. Here's a different view- red stripes are trans lines

Also, just that one little torx screw mounts the cooler to the radiator fan shroud- remove that screw and you can move the cooler around quite a bit...
