Registering a battery is very simple. I recommend for basic users just use the iCarly app ($50/year) to register a new battery. For advanced users, you should have INPA, NCS Expert, and maybe even Rheingold. Also easy with those.

If not registering the battery means I will get less, but not less than 50% of the life out of it, the less expensive route is go through two AGM batteries. If i buy an AGM from Advance, and it dies before three years, I get a new one. That seems like the most efficient route.

I will probably skip registering the battery when mine goes. Like the IMS bearing in a 996, what are the odds?

Or just buy any H6, H7, or H8 battery, get a Carly subscription for $65 and program it yourself.

I programmed my Duralast Gold H8-DLG battery recently. It's 80 Ah (had to email support for the capacity).

You came out cheaper than my battery alone lmao. I think I totaled $170+65 for $235...oh well.
