Question about VVT
I posted this in the 128i motor section, but not much traffic there.
My question......I just replaced my valve cover gasket after installing my MILVS. I took my valvetronics motor out with no issues using the Allen wrench to turn it CW until I felt tension then backed off slightly. After putting everything back together, it lined up perfectly. Do I have to do anything for calibration of the valvetronics motor? I've read about just putting the key in, ignition button on without starting the car....and let it sit for 30-60 seconds. Then maybe do it again for good measure. I've got this far....just want to do it right.

Just turn ignition on for 30 seconds without starting, then fire it up. I didn't pay much attention to it and had no issues.
