FS: BR Racing roll bar

Selling a BR Racing roll bar, these were made for a few years back in the 2011 - 2015 time frame. I'm the second owner of this bar, it's painted black and bolts right in to the E82 chassis, and is compatible with the 128i, 135i, and 1M.

Includes all four main parts and the hardware that attaches them together. Also includes two 1.5" shaft clamps that I used to keep the harness in place behind the driver seat.

Other than some scuffs from installation and moving gear in and out of the car, the bar is in great shape. It absolutely stiffens up the chassis and is noticeable on track, plus it is an easy way to get harnesses mounted in the car for the extra control of being strapped in place.

The only thing you'd need to get is a couple bolts that go through the body plug behind each seat. I used a 3" diameter backing plate with a 7/16" nut welded on to sandwich the floor under the car.

Other than drilling a hole in the plastic body plug and in your carpets, there is no drilling through metal to install this roll bar, everything bolts in to existing reinforced locations. Total weight of everything is about 63lbs if anyone is curious.

Here's a link to BR's website where they still have the product info, there are also several threads on this forum about this bar when it was first introduced.

Looking to get $1500 picked up, or meet somewhere near the Charlotte, NC area. Really not sure how I'd ship this or what that might cost.

Anyone looking for more info on the bar or some installation pictures, here's the original thread from 2009 when BR announced the product.

I also have a bunch of pictures from when I installed it but it's really straightforward and everything lines up nicely in the chassis.

I'm honestly not sure, you'd have to remove the rear seat backs for sure. I quickly looked at realoem and the front seatbelt slide bar is shared between the E82 and E88, so that would indicate the same spacing for where the main hoop sits. In the rear, you'd need to see if the threaded holes are there were the bar is designed to bolt in.

From pictures I can find, it looks like the stock E88 rollover protection is retracted right behind the rear seat backs. So, if you wanted to install this bar in an E88, you'd have to figure out how to remove all of that stuff.
