123D E82 N47 Engine Replacement Help

Hi All,

Hope everyone is well! I posted recently here and some members were kind enough to help me diagnose an issue with a lumpy 3rd cylinder on a 123D E82. The cause was a melted glow plug which has damaged the head, block and piston beyond repair, according to a specialist, so an engine replacement is required.

I recovered the car back home as they were quoting at least £6k. Does anyone have any experience with any UK based garages that specialise in this, and an idea of the expected cost.

Trying to weigh up the options if this car is worth repairing, or parting out / selling etc.
