So glad to see iCarbon bits coming to Oz. Been a long time coming and there is certain to be a lot of custom here for you!

Also a massive further thumbs up for the quick response - pricing is fantastic

Unless you are buying the carbon fiber hood the weight saving is minimal. Most of us get the carbon range for cosmetic reasons as we find it more aesthetically pleasing and an overall much nicer design, hence why most of us leave the carbon fiber part unpainted.

Hi Brian, does icarbon have a diffuser with dual center outlets? I was unaware of this. Do you have any pics?
If so, is there an exhaust system to match?

You'll find all the info you need in the original iCarbon group buy threads as this is where the latest news/updates will be posted.

There will be a carbon dual outlet available with the option of centred or non-centred spacing.

The diffuser looks quite nice IMO.

I'm not 100% certain but I believe there is, or used to be, an issue with fitting a CF bonnet to a road car (different rules in different states maybe?).

The reason as I understood it had to do with how CF will shatter on impact, instead of crumpling. Shards of CF flying everywhere isn't ideal in an accident.

Matt you are correct. Carbon fibre does not comply with any of the ADR standards because it keeps shattering before the limits are set. I got this info from blitz who specialise in making custom legal hoods for cars.

I would recommend painting the CF hood and only opting for the single-sided version to keep the weight as close to OEM as possible. A double sided carbon fiber hood would weigh next to nothing and be a dead give away.
