When I filled it, I was surprised at how much it took, it just kept filling and filling and filling!
My A4 took heaps but had this f**ing stupid 2 tank system which took FOREVER to fill, and kept overfilling because the first tank drained into the second tank so slowly, and I would loose patience and tip too much in and then have water all over the garage floor BMW's system is much better, so I don't mind having to fill so much

Where I live, the air is so clean that the windscreen just doesn't get dirty at all. Amazing!!!
Seriously, I find that I need to squirt just a little cleaning spray concentrate on the windscreen maybe twice to get a full clean. I haven't filled up for quite a while.

Just wanted to give you all an update...
So the part arrived and I dropped my car in today to get the slow-leaking washer system fixed. It seems that one of pop-out nozzles for the headlight washers was replaced. Odd that this was draining the system even during periods when I didn't using the windscreen washer function at all. So, hopefully this will fix the problem and my washer fluid will last more than a few days. |

I think even with just the fogs on it will spray the lights. This happened to me yesterday and I'm pretty sure I only had the fogs on. I know for sure that my X5 worked this way too. I'll have to try this when I leave work.

I took delivery July 30 last year, haven't used the washer nozzles once.

I used the washers once, and now the darn warning message keep popping up. Geez, I used like 2 oz of the stuff. It must be a leak, I better check it out...

I have 3000 km on mine, don't have to refill yet. The A4 I had, I never refilled it for 3 years. The dealer refills it for me everytime the car is in the shop. I doubted if BMW will do the same though..

Mine lasts for quite a while...but then again I rarely use it. I typically wash my windshield by hand every time I drive the car...lol.
