Key Dimensions?

Hey folks. I need to get a key case and was curious what the dimensions of the BMW key are? You can list it in whatever units you want, since the internet could probably convert lightyears to inches if I really needed. Thanks.

The fob is roughly 1" wide and 2-2 1/2 inches long. And about 3/4 of a centimeter thick.

I don't mean to be intrusive...but what on earth would you need a key case for?

(and are you planning on getting Comfort Access?)

Yes, I ordered mine with comfort access. Well, I will have a BMW key, w/ CA, an Audi key, w/ Advanced Key, and an assorment of other keys. I wanted to make sure they'll all fit. Then, all I have to do is carry the little wallet in my pocket and barely have to take it out to open things.

Audi with Advanced key : how cool...which model? (My mother is a dye hard audi fan and would love something like that)

And good idea...I can see how that would be usefull...
Now, if only I could get comfort access on my front door....(of my house)

You actually can, ha. This one company I know of can set that up for you, at least if you're on the west coast. Look up this company:

Intelligent Community Services, Inc. (ICS)
1200 NW Naito Pkwy, Suite 200
Portland, OR
503.445.0141

They can do remote keyless entry for homes. Pretty phat.

The Audi i've got is the 2005 A6 3.2. Gorgeous car and worth every penny, until they release the S6.
