Must say, the weld and quality of the pipes are impressive. In terms of the install, the fitment was perfect and the install was almost flawless. Only issue was with the longer DP and the sharp bend it has when connecting to the mid-pipes, which was easily solved as shown in the pipes.

Car picked up approximately 20whp and 25wtq without any tuning modifications.

Overall, very happy with this product.

Sweet, I should be recieving mine tomorrow. Did you also get the DP fix as well? If so how was the instalation?

Funny, I was about to make a similar post. Received some VRSF DP's for a buddies 335is today and i'm extremely impressed with the quality. Recently installed some AA DP's on an N54 and they didn't look this good. Hopefully i'll be installing them tomorrow along with all the other FBO goodies

These things fit so perfect. Super impressed. Had the subframe down replacing noisy turbos so I figured i'd take a shot..

No, didn't get the DP fix. Doesn't seem to need it because I'm not getting any codes.

They will come up eventually unless you have a JB4

DP fix is so that the engine computer will pass "readiness" for the cat, so you can pass state emissions. Otherwise a tune like JB4 or Cobb will just clear the codes, and never set readiness.

Did they change the design of their downpipes or something? I installed a used set of these on my friends 335i and the fitment was horrible. They rest right against the frame, rattle like hell, and the O2 sensors are in the wrong location.

IDK but from what i've seen the only issues were installation error. They needed to be rotated alittle to clear. Maybe your set was duds! lol

These DP are version 2.
Version 1 had fitment issues but they stopped selling them than a year ago.

We never had a sensor location issue. Keep in mind that there was a couple guys selling counterfeit VRSF products for about a year and a half. Combine that with the fact that there have been copy cats on ebay selling downpipes that look similar to ours and it's easy for someone to claim they're selling a used VRSF downpipe when they're selling used garbage with poor fitment they bought off ebay.

We had a small batch of V1's (35 out of 600 sold) that had a fitment issues due to our supplier damaging the jigs but it was quickly resolved with the V2's.

If that's the case, these were counterfeit, I apologize for talking badly about the VRSF product. There probably isn't any way to tell if they are genuine VRSF is there?

Beware of used down pipes!

No problem man, if you e-mail us some pics I can determine if they are authentic or not. There's been 3 different ebay sellers that have tried moonlighting on the forums as private vendors selling "used" VRSF DP's without posting pictures for this exact reason.

I have the VRSF charge pipe on my N55 and It's awesome! Very nice quality. Looking at picking up the intercooler as well!
