At stock height you should be fine

For the front, I used to have 235/40/18 a 8.5" wheel with an et44 offset, stock fender and all, so you will have no problem.

For the rear, I have 255/35/18 tire on a 8.5" wheel with an et50 and it's fine.
I used to have 235/40/18 a 8.5" wheel with an et39 offset and all I get is a very minor surface rub on tyre's side wall against inside of fender at max compression, which means it runs fine. Not sure if that helps.

Anyone running 18x8 square with 245/35?

I tried a search but it pulls up both 18x8 and 18x8.5.

Riken Raptor 245/40ZR

Stock suspension with Koni yellows adjusted at halfway setting. rides great no rubbing and the light wheels really seem to make a difference. I really like the way it turns with this setup.

thanks to the previous posters here on square setups - very helpful!

Anyone running 8.5/9.5 Apex EC-7s with the BMW PS and M3 front control arms?
Do they fit without modification?
Hoping for 235/265 MPSS or MP4S, but can live with 225/255.

Apex Aero-7

I just got my Apex Aero-7 put on my car. I got them at Apex's black Friday blem sale.

Front - 18x8" et45
Rear - 18x9" et50

Stock sport suspension

MPSS 225/40/18 & 245/35/18

Looks like I have plenty of room for more tire in the rear so I will try 265/35/18 in the rear when I need new tires.

VMR VB3, 18x8.5 +35, 18x9.5 +45 (going to test fit 5mm spacer on rear).

Stock M-Teh suspension, stock tyres stretched. Looking to get new tyres soon, and eventually give it a slight drop.

Sorry the large photo size, will try and resize from another machine tomorrow.

roll fenders
add negative camber
swap to smaller tires
shave backpad (don't do this)
get a set of wheels with higher offset that fit

i'd go with putting negative camber on the rear if you're not bothered by the uneven tire wear. i'm not sure about your car, but mine can go way negative, to the tune of 3-4 degrees of negative camber on H&R supersports i'd say? i had a hair under 3 just by lowering it anyhow.

Just back from the land of OZ...with some Ultraleggera 18" x 8" F & 9" R...was hesitant about the bronze, but it's simply stunning in real life...and I finally like the color of the BMW Performance 6-piston calipers...

Shod with Conti Extreme Contact Sport...these are so superb and with the exception of the Pilot Sport Cup, are the best IMO...

My '01 M Roadster had 3-piece Superleggera's...I loved those and so did everyone else, now 15 years later, I'm back with OZ and their super-light Ultraleggera's

Yes, one of if not the best looking wheels made from BMW. Did have guards rolled and slight camber. Tyre opting was a real pain - rears 235/35/19. not many tyre choices. Wheels are extremely heavy tho.. felt shit to drive
