Talking !!NEW 1series Owner!!

Hello everyone. Name is Mike. I haven't had a chance to meet everyone on the forum. I recently purchased a sedona red 135i fully loaded with 28k miles. I am coming from a 06 325i. Boy i love everything about this car. I'm looking forward to meet everyone. Mod bug hit me already picked up some gloss black grills. Please comment and tell me what you think and any worthy mods i can do to it. Not looking for wheels at this point i love the look of the stock wheels. Thanks everyone

Congrats on the new ride the red is nice! the first thing I think you should do to it is remove the tacky dealer sticker from the trunk.I hate when they put that crap on our cars unless they pay us for the add space it shouldent be aloud. IMO get to know the car before going crazy with mods as they are very impessive in stock form! Enjoy and welcome to the club.

Car looks awesome in person and it was nice to meet you. I would start with the E93 M3 front sway bar. Not expensive and an easy DIY. Tune is the next obvious step. Though a little pricey, the side skirts give the car a much more aggressive look IMHO.

I also have an 08 SR 135. Just like you, i really like the look of stock wheels but wished they were flush to the fender so i got spacers from burger tuning. 15mm front and 12mm rear. the stance now looks even better. Spacers, clutch delay valve mod, clutch stop, and 35% percent tint all around are the only things i've done so far. Tinted windows looks great on Sedona red! Suspension and CF lip/spoiler will be next. ill try to post pictures for you when i get a chance.

Check this out if you're interested on the wheel spacers.

Congrats, welcome to the TT club.
Very nice color and looks great with the new grills. I installed them on my AW right after I did the PPK.(which you might look into) or another one of the tunes available.
Check out the 135 engine section and read away, much to absorb.

I like it alot. Have an auto and it gets 15 more ft lbs than the stick or DCT cars. Dont know whether yours is auto/stick. The N54 is underated to begin with and I believe the PPK is underated also. It was a nice increase felt right away after the install. No lag, very good low end and midrange TQ and pulls a little harder on top.

One of the factors I got it was to keep the warranty intact. Still had two years to go on it. Even still, I would likely get it. I like the fact that its BMW and made to be safe for the drivetrain. I would get it again in a minute.

Got a great deal right before the New Years. $549 installed.
They had a $599 + install special last year but the dealer owed me one from an earlier issue and I got it at their cost(so they said) and free installation. Dont rememver exactly but think they wanted 150 for install.
The kit itself is more now but shop around and haggle. There are deals and they will negotiate.
