FYI:

I came across this when searching for LPFPS error codes. I had it replaced 5k kays ago by advan and it appears to have crapped out on me.

Unsure if you need to consider this with your fuel line mod (securing the line to minimising vibration)

The sensor is on the hard line part, so same as factory and is closer to the pump.

I had mine on my car for quite some time 5k or so and raced on it with absolutely no issues, cant see how vibration can kill a sensor especially in the location its in.

Or is it another excuse bmw has come up with for their poor engineering mistake.

Yeah it seems odd I must admit... Just thought I would add it here FYI

Unsure if I'll buy the new style sensor (I think it only comes with the new line but its supposedly less prone to failure from vibration)

Can you elaborate on the removal fuel filter in the HPFP?

Sorry if it's obvious once you've got it off the car, but it doesn't seem to be from the photos I've seen.

What's involved in removing the 'restrictive filter at the inlet of the hpfp'?

Awesome work Marty! Did you make your own LPFP upgrade or just purchase one? I'm looking at upgrading it myself just looking for cheaper alternatives.
