'09 135i  [10.00]
135 suspension refresh parts list

A while back I did a refresh of my 2009 135i suspension. As part of the process I used an install kit from ECS along with several other parts.

To make life easier for others I wanted to share what I found- what parts were included in the install kit, what I actually used/what was left over, what other parts that were needed for a full rebuild etc...

Note that part numbers may change or be superseded, but this should at least get you in the ballpark. Additionally you may use more or less parts than I did, or your damper kit may include more or less parts than mine did. For example I added a set of Dinan camber plates, so I used 4 of the strut carrier gaskets instead of just 2 like normally required. Or you may want to use different rear shock mounts where I went with stock replacements. Also note that I ended up cutting my bump stops down quite a bit.

The first list (blue & white) is the list of parts I purchased, including the ECS install kit.

The second list, with the orange, has the list of items in the install kit, and then in orange notes the parts I didn't use. At the time, buying the kit was convenience only- cost savings was roughly a dollar vs the parts individually.
