N54 or N55 Engine

Hi

New to this forum, just picked up a 135i 2010 with 60Ks on it an no mods, perfect paint and interior so very happy.

Can any of the members of this forum help with what engine I have, N55 or N54 ?

I'm confused?? I thought the N55 was single turbo not twin turbo. Also I thought 2011 is when the N55 started production?

Edit: Granted the photo does look like an N55

TwinPower Turbo means twin-scroll, in this instance. That being said, although this is an N55, I also thought that N55s didn't arrive until the 2011 model.

OP, have you looked up your VIN for build date?

Possible OP is referencing Build Year and not Model year. my car is a 2010 build, but 2011 MY.

Yes, we normally go by build date and not model year here in Australia.
