1 Series E82 / E88 Maintenance Books

I'm sure most of the maintenance items between the N54/N55 are similar. Do you note differences, if any, in the books? Or will you have N55 specific books? Thanks, cant wait to buy one!

There are a lot of difference between the n54 and n55. Each book is different.

For the life of me, I have not been able to determine what is inside these handsome covers. Is this for recording actual service records, a simple maintenance schedule or just a really attractive Owner's Manual?

From what I understand, and anyone jump in if I am wrong, this will serve mainly as a record keeping and reminder source. It includes common service interval recommendations, a place to record actuals, and also gives a reference for some of the warning lights.

It's for recording. If you look through the 1M thread and my original thread there are pictures of the inside.

It comes with recommended time/mileage for replacement with part numbers for the parts, and warnings/indicator meanings.

That is perfect!! I didn't care what was included, I just want this book! Perfect for us 1addicts.

Release date for the 128i?
Will Deep Sea Blue be provided as a color option? If not, I can go with another blue, like Montego, Monaco, or Le Mans.

Nailed it on the head. I created it as a nicer way to keep tabs on all my maintenance vs. trying to dissect BMW's service sheets every time I need to remember what service was done and when.
