how are you guys getting the 1m home in December?

Mine will likely not arrive until January. I am going to start researching winter tires and plan on putting those on it. Or I might just keep my old trusty 330xi and use it in winter. In that case I will ask the dealership to keep my car there until April.

I was thinking the same thing, ask them to store it until April. Seems like they do not want to do that. CA told me the dealership does not want to take responsibilities as he said people walk in and out might accidently scratch it and all these excuses. He said if the car does arrive in december, i would have to take delivery within December.
I really don't want the 1M to see any salt at all.

I have not asked my CA yet about storing the car. Budds BMW was going to do it for me if I bought a 1M from them at MSRP.

I received an email from the guy that is responsible for allocations with BMW Canada. He indicated that production for Canada has not been put on hold or delayed for Nov or December. Good news!

my 1M is arriving on halloween or couple days after says from my dealer (Autowest)

Congrats to you too! Got a sneak peak here in Edmonton, AB. Amazing car. I'm really pleased with the exhaust note and the regular hifi stereo.
