FS: UR Catted Downpipe N54
I bought these from another forum member, almost sold them but decided to install it. Worked great, no funky catless smell and made a decent amount of hp over stock. $300 MSRP of these downpipes is close to $1000. There are dents on the pipe, they are small and wont affect performance. See dropbox link for pictures. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/wp0vpsbnyh8b1bo/9Bco3b1q2D Original sellers photos... Not sure, I'm not the original owner. I bought it from someone on the forum... I ended up using them for 1000 miles before getting catless downpipes to break 400whp. Now I got smelly exhaust...
If I have to guess, someone that tried to install the dp didnt know how and dented it to make it fit? Or maybe they had wastgate rattle and thought it was the pipes and took a hammer to it? Either way, the cars performance increased with these downpipes, sound was slightly louder than stock and no stinky smell. |

Thats your opinion, but there are people using PLM downpipes making just as much power as AR design or any other catless dp... I can for a fact having used these pipes with dents, felt a noticeable difference in hp/tq.
Plus price reflects the 'dents', catted downpipes sell for over $1000 new, and around $700-800 used. |

No its not, if it was my opinion i wouldnt have said it. Those dents are in high velocity areas that handle the larger mass of air flowing through them. Larger disruption than if they were on the inside of a bend where they would barely make any difference.
However, I agree your price is very fair, and i'm kinda surprised it hasnt sold already. |

I'd believe the entire downpipe is a 'high velocity area' It was sold then seller backed out, sold again and I backed out thought I might as well install it. Then had it removed for catless downpipes because I now wanted to break my old record of 417whp. |
