I gotta say, I'm happy with the fitment. I should have gone with 225 front/ 255 rear tires because the tires look a little stretched but otherwise no complaints. The fenders look completely filled and no poke.

Looks good.
fronts are et40, rears are et45. They are 18s. Couldn't tell you the exact weights but I can say that these rims with nonRFTs are lighter then my stock 261m's with stock tires. Can't comment on the strength yet. And thanks

I'll get some shots up tomorrow, the weather sucked all weekend and I couldn't get my friend to bring his M3 down for authentic BBS comparison shots and I didn't shoot anything new yet.

Nope, BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2's in stock sizes. I should have gone with 225/255s but wanted to make sure I wasn't going to rub and had a little more clearance before going to the bigger size. I had never seen the shape of the sidewall on this particular tire. I'll go with slightly bigger tires next year.

Thanks Frank, you got to see them in person.

fronts are 18x8 et40 and rears are 18x9 et45. I really should have weighed them out but I didn't have a scale handy when I went to have them installed. They were definitely lighter then stock rims and tires though.

hi there,
outstanding pattern these BFgoodrich, it’s a pit we don’t have that pattern in Europe…..

Are those tires ideal for day to day use? I mean… summer tires! Do they have a good grip in rain situation?

I've only got about 200 miles on the tires, so I've been going really easy on them. I think they'll make for good daily driver tires though. I was driving through Jersey yesterday during that ridiculous storm and I didn't feel any hydroplaning. As much as I hated the ride of the stock Dunlops, they were really good in the rain. As to the tread pattern, yes they look cool, but I can tell they are going to be really noisy in another 5,000 miles.

I know, I was lame and didn't go to any all season so far. I can't make it to the BMW CCA autox on August 8th, because I'm going to the Hemmings Sports & Exotic Show at the Saratoga Auto Museum. If you wanna try to do a PCA event on August 15th, I'd be up for that

You let me know which ones you are around for and I'll be there. Its way too early to be thinking about starting the fall semester. I still have another two weeks of summer class before my vacation even starts.

Just FYI, these are not hubcentric. They come with hub spacer rings.

thanks for the clarification. I thought that because the wheels came with centering rings, they were hubcentric

Any idea if these wheels can take stock RFT's from OEM Style 264?

They actually get quieter, it took about 3000 miles but the noise level goes down considerably as they wear, believe me...

on the shot you posted..... you should position the front wheel so that we can appreciate the concavity of the rim and the tread of the tire.

nonetheless, it looks great and I aint complaining.
