I just think that the car is a great option, I mean, I care more for the engine, and the 1 looks good to me, I just want to see pricing. I believe that if the 135i convertible is for around 40K fully loaded, and I mean fully, no options left to get, then I will definitely get one next year, probably in November once all errors are detected. I want a convertible, with available back seats for children and fun to drive every day to work and the weekends with the wife, and the 135i seems just what I need.

The 1er is supposed to fill the gap between the Mini and the 3 series. There is no legit competitor to the 1er and BMW could charge anything they wanted. But let's use a little common sense though. If they start the price in the 37k-38k it would cannibalize sales from the Z4. Granted the 1er could see that price( maybe in the 40k range) if you added in some options but it's one thing to START at that price and BUILD to that price. I don't think the the 1er would start at or near the same price as the Z4. The 135 will start in the mid 30k and the 128 will be in the high 20-low 30k range. I will put money on that.
