O2 placement on Downpipes

Guys, does anyone know if the downpipes on the 335 and 135 are identical, including placement of the O2 sensors?

Does anyone know for sure if the RHD and LHD downpipes are different also?

Thanks
Kris

The downpipes are different and the O2 sensors are color coded....

No. They're the same. On the two cars.

Not sure about LHD and RHD though.

Depends on the downpipe company. All that I know other than us have the same placement. We however have worked with Andrew at SourthrenBM in AUS for perfect RHD fitment for both the 135 and 335.

Anthony, so the pipes on LHD and RHD are the same, its just the placement of the O2 plug that makes it a issue?

Depends Kris. The catted DP will be different because LHD ones just don't fit RHD cars. But catless ones are just small modifications.

I'm told its related only to the fitment of the bungs.. I can get pipes without bungs at all and just add them once fittted to the car...Bungs would be supplied. This would mean I could get a good fitment...

Catted ones I believe had issues with cats hitting the engine mount etc.

Sorry. I made the assumption that you were installing catless pipes.

Ok from that i see you are thinking another brand of DP's. Obvioulsy too hard to tell if they are going to fit or not but i know the issues i had with the Stage 1 DP's, Stage 2 DP's and the Catless sets, thats another topic all together

RR pipes will soon be a perfect fit for RHD from production, we have a fitted product to RHD cars both in catted and catless form which will be available soon as you have been previously advised from me.

I will provide that when i know. RR still have to make the jigs, make the products and send the trail first set, then after all is fine and i am happy then i'll let everyone know.

I'll put you down for the first set of catted pipes.

Same for LHD. But some of these LHD downpipes on the market don't fit very nice either.
