2012 BMW 128i 6mt crazy vibration when decelerating 😩😩

As the title says the car is vibrating when I let of the gas. 6,5,4,3 and 2nd gear when I put it in neutral it's still there but faint not to bad when under acceleration there is no noticeable vibration at all! However I feel it's more of exhaust noise no steering shake or anything and the clutch seems solid. Almost like when you would let of the gas and the car is rumbling of the exhaust can't really explain it. No mil on the dash. Recent work is rotors and pads all around, rear suspension struts and upgraded from the 17s to the 18s staggered set up as it's a rear wheel drive anyway. Rear tires are a but worn but still enough tread depth other then this all stock.

Could it be rear bushings?

Also car shakes a but when on the accelerator till it warms up then goes away.

Any suggestions would be appreciated as it's driving me nuts.

Could be a lot of things, guibo maybe, transmission mounts, motor mounts, diff mounts. Very hard to diagnose like this, your best bet is to get the place you did all the work to drive it and diagnose....

Hey. Thanks, I did all the work myslef. Cray thing is it really started out of know where and got worse. When I put in the rotors and pads along with the staggered wheels it was not doing this. Maybe the struts could be a issue? I don't see that being a the issue but I'm speculating at this point! I was thinking maybe mounts just not sure if rear mounts, tranny mounts or engine etc. I do notice though that when the car is idleing I hear a exhaust rattle but how could this create a rumble/vibration when I let of the gas? Or downshift? Also if I downshift from let's say 4th to 3rd and let of the clutch quickly it feels like the car is doing to break down! My wife says she feels is in the dash and under her feet in the passenger side however I feel it too.

At that mileage, do all the mounts. Motor transmission and differential.

Can you feel it through the shift lever? If the tranny was torquing, you’d likely feel it.

Slightly feel it in the shifter but mostly the body shakes then I let of the throttle when I accelerate again the rumble vibration goes away when I downshift at lower speeds it's definitely feels like something is jerking it back. Feels line a mount just a bit of a bitch to check as the car naturally sits extremely low from factory

Have you ever changed the tranny or diff fluids? Seems a bit crazy but what if you’re just fighting gear friction?

So it's good under load, really bad decel in gear, not as bad decel with clutch in, unaffected by braking loads? . I'm guessing in the driveline from clutch back, not including the transmission. Guibos, rear axle CVs, maybe massive wear on differential causing backlash. Be sure to check your RSFB as well.

I would definitely check the giubo. It could tear worse in one direction which is why deceleration might feel different then acceleration. It could also be a combination of giubo and mounts.

Which mounts are you suggesting?

This can't be good to drive it like this. It might even be considered unsafe. I would have it checked out by a qualified, trustworthy mechanic as soon as possible. Leaving it to guesswork and speculation is not a good idea, and could end up costing a lot more if the driveshaft dropped on to the highway because of a failed guibo. Your car is trying to tell you it needs help!

Giubo is a definite possible. I would also look at the driveshaft center mount / bearing. Honestly at your mileage I would just replace both.
