Dinan Rear Upper Shock Mount Kit 12mm

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds

Sold

Item Interest
Clearing out some parts. Please see link to item below. Everything is included and in excellent condition. You will see in the pictures a little silver circle on the two metal upper bushings. That is caused by the lock washer the instructions tell you to use when installing the part. 100% excellent working condition.

Please keep in mind this is the 12 mm version so they work with the externally adjustable koni shocks. If your suspension has the stock shaft diameter of 10 MM, you can purchase the 10 MM sleeve from Dinan directly.

There are two pictures below showing the suspension travel I gained when running this part with Bilstein B8s. You would need the 10mm sleeve to install this part on the B8s, but it is a good example showing how much travel you gain.

Part: https://www.dinancars.com/product/d1...ies=&mid=135i/

Instructions: http://files.dinancars.com/webresour...1afe7a86d5.pdf

Also, please view my itrader rating and buy with confidence. Price is $80 shipped CONUS and location is SoCal.

This mod was the last step to change the rear suspension for me.

Having gone coils w/ linear springs, M3 Arms, and M3 RSFB, there was still a bit of extra bounce in the rear. It just didn't quite feel dialed in. Popped in these (or at least a variant of these) and it made a world of difference.

Thanks brother.

I went with the AKG black bushings. No issues with them and dead silent.

The TC DA rears coupled with the dinan mounts ended up with too much suspension travel with rim/tire combo. My tire was hitting the fuel filler neck on the passenger side.
