tell that to BMW they are the ones that chose the CSL wheels they could have just come up with their own design but they took the shortcut instead

Huh! Do you know why? Don't get me wrong, they always work in the BMW look, kind of tried and true, but the 701s are a nice deviation. Think they bridle at the hint of the Japanese tuner market the Advan inspired 701s impart? A little sniffishness going on maybe?

basically, i love the advan 701's especially on that dark blue 135. i feel BMW is just slacking with designing their cars and doing less for their own good rather than more for the customer. like developing M wheels for the 1M instead of using M competition CSL wheels. not making an aggressive enough M hood like the M3. adding a carbon roof like the M3. also like the M5, they did everything but added the new hood and the CF roof. people ask for this stuff on the forums, dont they read up on it and try to satisfy us the customer? thats what id do if i was part of the BMW design team.

True, you're probably right on and I couldn't agree more about the marketing/design folks spending time on forums. Maybe they think we're just a crazy 1%, but some folks here have some great ideas.

Anyway, thanks for this! It's killer! I already loved John's car (mine's Monaco as well, so I can aspire) and then to have it M'd out? Priceless!
