Is our car trunk space big enough???

Do you guys think we have enough space for a 135i front bumper to fit inside?
I have to go pick up the bumper and wondering if I can pick it up with my 1.
Has anyone tried? Of course with rear seats rolled down, no passengers in the car.

My seats do not fold down, but a bumper in its shipping package would certainly fit with the roof down.

With folding seats, angled a bit, I think it would work. Skiis do work, up to at least two meters, and I don't think a bumper is quite that long.

Another reason to opt for the 'vert!

might have to take it out of it's box, but it should fit okay.

I got an 8ft christmas tree inside with the trunk closed. It was wrapped in netting and did protrude between the front seats a bit, but... I was surprised. The biggest issue is going to be your "insertion angle" where the rear deck might keep you from getting something pushed all the way in.

I don't see how a plastic bumper cover wouldn't be flexible enough to get past this, but you never know.

It will NOT fit! Because it's to wide. I believe almost all cars have wider front than rear. I was transporting it with VW PASSAT and still I had to do that inside of vehicle with droped back of pasenger seat. Unless you would try to do the same.

Lay the rear seats down, face the bumper pointing like this ) with the leading edge of the bumper facing you, starting with the end of the bumper that isnt sitting above your head right now and slid it into the trunk, slowly rotating it as if goes in. It might also help to push the passenger seat forward and the seat back folded forward as much as it will go. It'll fit, may not completely or comfortably, but it'll be enough to get it home or wherever you're taking it.

Not with the 135i, but I've done it in other cars and with bigger bumpers. Being that the seats go down and the passenger seat pushes and leans forward, you'll get it in there. I recommend bungee cord or something just in case the trunk is unable to close, for safety measures.
