Exclamation Looking for VMR V703/VB3's!!!

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Hey guys. Looking to the forums to find a set of wheels that I haven't had the best luck with trying to obtain.

Ideally, I'm looking for a staggered set of VMR V703 in hyperblack (which I now realize are not made anymore, despite a few sites still listing them as in stock). Next colors on the list (in order) would be gloss black, matte black, gunmetal, hyper silver.

Fitment would be: 18x8.5 ET40/45 & 18x9.5 ET45 5x120.

Let me know if you or anyone you know has a set for sale!

Also interested in the same sizes for my 135i. Would prefer Hyper Silver if anyone has any available!

There's a set local to me in the Los Angeles area, but not sure if the seller is willing to ship and the offset in the fronts are slightly lower offset -

18x8.5 et35
18x9.5 et45

Appreciate the shout! Gonna hold out for hyper silvers and hopefully a higher offset. Might have to compromise with a different wheel though as these seem impossible to find 😔

Hey just curious why do they have to be 703's? And what is vb3?
I run 703 in gunmetal in the exact specs you mentioned. I like them so much I was going to buy the black ones for summer wheels in the spring. I guess I'll have to make another plan for those. Just curious is all.

VB3 is just another name for the style of wheel and I just love the CSL (v703) design. I'm trying to mimic a 1M as close as possible

Very jealous that you were able to get a set in the right sizing for our 1er's! How/when did you buy them?

I'll be patiently waiting for a set from VMR to open up

Curious, what has been your experience in terms of fitment (I.e. rubbing, scrapping) with ET35 up front and ET45 in the rear? Have you had your fenders rolled/running camber at all?

I got them a couple years ago and they were alot cheaper than they are now. Still a great wheel for a great price. Wish they were a little lighter.
I'm running 225/255 no fender roll. I do rub in the rear on big dips in the road. But never any other time.

Thanks a bunch for your responses Petro135! I think I'm all dialed in. Going to make the switch in about a month or so and call it an early Christmas gift to myself
