Yeah, when he started his engine I laughed- had to replay it again just to hear that turbo spool, and only then realized you were laughing too!

I imagine a small amount doesn't hurt, just don't "walnut lock" it.
Got it, thanks!

DCI and charge pipe felt good today. Nice to hear a little induction noise. Hoping to do the down pipes this weekend and order intercooler. Also going to look at oil coolers since mine hits 250ish during spirited runs. That's pretty normal right? I think I asked a while back but then also saw some FB posts talking about that being too hot

N55 here, mine sits just below 250 when fully warmed up.

I know that feeling, I did the same thing this week - finally put the tune on and drove it hard. Let me know what your MPG's look like now, I'm just curious. LOL.

These cars DUMP fuel when you drive hard, the MHD is a little easier on the consumption than JB4's but you'll be in mid to low teens driving aggressively.

I noticed that....270 miles to a tank to 200 miles to a tank....overnight. The price we pay....

Thanks, that eases my mind a bit. Mine sits just below 250 during normal driving as well. During more enthusiastic driving I've seen it just tip the right edge of the 250 mark. Sounds like that's still a pretty safe zone. Though I'm curious what I'll be seeing after MHD 2+

Normal. From what I understand, the oil cooler starts to kick in at around 240-245. Anything 250 and below is perfectly normal

Been trying to wash the car the last 3 weeks, every other day it rains so that is a bummer.

Also have been calculating what more work needs, such as sway bars,M3 arms, RSFBs, LSD and track day wheels and tires...it is expensive as if i already did not spend enough.

Not to mention better seats.

Yeah, agree. 250 is the magic number as far as our oil temp goes. You don't want it to go above that.

I'll monitor after the tune. If needed I'll add the oil cooler I didn't end up having

You guys with the verts don't have the oil cooler in the front passenger side wheel well, right? I never understood why BMW didn't put it there. Same engine, so why not?

Oh is that unique to verts? I was told it might have been a package I didn't have. But yeah, kind of strange if that's the case of it only being for verts. Imagine my surprise when I went to attach my 1M ducts lol

You know, I'm not positive on all verts not having the oil cooler. It could be just a Sport/M Sport pkg thing. But still, either way, it's the same engine so why not put the oil cooler in all 135s?

PS - I'm pretty sure the 135is verts have the oil cooler, so like I said, not positive.
