Custom M3 Steering Wheel From Alex@Helix and Installed By LTBMW! A Review & Pics! :D
Got a new custom M3 steering wheel from Alex@Helix (great guy btw ). I didn't get the performance one cause it had the alanctra(sp) material. I also wanted custom stitching without the M badge cause I'm not a poser nor do I drive an M car. So I settled on this custom one with black stitching, it is also a little thicker than the OEM M3 wheel since I got the thicker opinion with a LITTLE bit more padding, probably only a few MM more but it feels way better. I can't stop driving my car and the material feels great!! The price isn't bad and it's worth it in my opinion. Ordering from Alex was a breeze, he was on top of communication and after a morning of PM's we got the ball rolling. Customization and shipped to my door took about 1.5 weeks when he told me 2-3, so quite the surprise when I got it super early! The install by superman LTBMW took around 5mins. Thanks Long ! Check it out...
Before (sorry, the only one I had): After: Sent in.... a french fry box. what more could I have asked for?!

question, do you have the heated steering wheel function and if you do, any problems with it while using the new steering wheel? It looks really good

You're probably right, but in your pics, your before and after wheels look identical. |

cuz there's too much blacks and contrast. I'd like to see a daytime shot of the interior That way we'd see the steering wheel in all it's glory. I'f hiding in the shadows right now

I know the difference between the m3 & non-sport wheel but that wasn't what i was asking, I asked what the differences where between the sport wheel and m3 wheel besides the tri-colored stitching..

non-sport package steering wheel is different than the sport package steering which is different from the m3 steering wheel. I don't have sport package so it was an upgrade for me i guess?
