An update with some more parts:

-Pilot Super Sports 225/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear.
-Swift linear front springs for KW v3
-Cobb sway bars and poly bushings
-Vorshlag camber plates
-Shaved rear fenders

No rubbing at all on hard bumps with 3 people in the car, just the slightest amount with 4 people.

3/19
Some shots all cleaned up, dyno time soon.

7/1, Straight E85 Dyno with no meth

5/24, Some pics at sunset

Rieger Rear Diffuser

My name is Dillon, and I've been a 1addict since March of 2010! I will be updating this thread from now on with new updates to the 1.
When I first picked her up!

I just recently messed up my 3D design lip and snapped it in half coming down a very steep driveway,

So I thought I would try something different with the front end. I ended up going with the Kerscher 1M front bumper for the 135i. (excuse my shy friend hiding behind the bumper).

I love everything about the 1M, but I did not feel like undertaking the widebody transformation, as much as I wanted to deep down inside. The lines of the front bumper really appeal to me and I couldn't be happier with it, but there are a few things to note about the bumper.

The brake ducts do not match up to the new bumper, so the mesh provided was used to cover up the center section as well as the brake ducts and side slits. Here is a picture of how the ducts line up.

Apart from that, I also had the headlight washers uninstalled so I wouldn't have to tap holes into the bumper for them, I always thought they were a little pointless The fitment of the bumper is perfect, spot on, no mismatching, everything is flush and in the correct place, I was extremely surprised! Here are some shots of the finished product so far, I will be doing a full shoot once I finally have her back from getting retuned and dyno'd!

The List:

Exterior -
Gloss Black Kidney Grills

Gloss Black Rieger Diffuser

Thanks man I really appreciate it! I was thinking that 1M ducting might be able to work, when comparing the two ducts on the real bumper compared to the Kerscher, it looks like they should line up

(thanks 1013MM for the pic!)

It looks like the primary ducting will work. On the 1m, it mounts to the same points as the stock 135i ones. The Air Curtains may not be a direct fit though.

This bumper is made by Kerscher and is only made to fit the 135i, it just maintains the same 1M styling, but more narrow. The 1M front bumper from the factory is much too wide for our fenders, you would need the 1M front fenders installed as well to pull it off, like so many epic people on 1addicts are all doing! I personally just didn't have the budget for the conversion, otherwise I would have gone that direction no doubt!

BavarianX put silver vinyl on the inside and covered up the amber when they opened the lights to paint the housings as well as install the led angel eyes. They do an awesome job, and actually still offer the service, even though I've been reading they are not.

So now I'm stuck...carbon front lip or 1M style bumper. Damn, they're not too far apart cost wise.

I really like this, call me mad but I almost prefer the understated cleaner look of the 135i with the bumper than the in your face 1M.

Why are you dumping your D2's?
