Lack of power, corner exit, dsc fully off

I'm looking to the forum to see if anyone else has experienced this.

On corner exit, as I start to apply power and begin unwinding the wheel, I can feel the engine go from pulling strongly to feeling flat.
I can go to full throttle (vs rolling into it) and it doens't feel like it makes any difference.
Almost like that even with DSC off there is some sort of traction control system functioning.

When I get the wheel fully unwound then I can feel the power come back.

I experimented with coding Ediff off thinking that the software might be proactively grabbing a wheel before it started break free.
Result: The power reduction effect was still there and, not surprisingly, there was increased tendency to spin the inside tire.

Any ideas?

DSC: fully off.
Engine: bone stock N55, late DME, still locked, not able to use MHD
Coding: FLR (power reduction due to brake overheating) is off. FBS (fading brake assistance) is off.
Diff: Stock open, ediff on

Log it with mhd and post log so we can see how much power it's actually pulling.

Sorry, can't do MHD logs.
I've got the late DME and it is still locked.

I would code off all electronic nannies, that's what I did aside from the E-Diff:

https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1216642

Electronic Differential
Engine Power Reduction to Prevent Brake Disc Overheating
Brake Fading Compensation
Hydraulic Brake Assist
Maximum Brake Support
Brake Standby
Dynamic Performance Control

Correct me if I'm wrong but you don't need to install MHD to datalog. I thought logging worked on the locked ECUs / stock binary.

It does, but, not all pids will be available unless you have the same dme version as what MHD has defined the logging parameters for.

Lack of power could be many things. Have you logged to see if maybe you have a throttle closure? timing corrections? Or, maybe you are seeing torque limiters? I get post shift bog quite a bit on track. It has been fixed for N54 but there isn't apparently enough interest to write the custom dme logic for the N55 to prevent torque limiters post shift.

First question should be,

How much fuel in the tank?

Problem is not dependent on amount of gas in the tank. Happens anywhere from full to empty.
It is definitely digital. The change happens like someone flips a switch.

I'm nearly certain it is related to steering wheel position. I changed the rear toe links not so long ago and threw a quick alignment at the car. Went to the track but the steering wheel was slightly off centre. Power on exit of corners was terrible on left hand turns and much better on right handers.
Fixed the alignment, properly centered steering wheel. Problem is still there, not as bad, now the same for left and right turns.

I've re-read the nannies thread and I think I'm chasing the same problem as brakthru . I've got a late build 2012 MY (04/2012 if memory serves), with the locked DME and I'm wondering if the DSC takes advantage of the later DME to add additional traction control functionality.

I think the next step will be to try changing some of the other DSC parameters and test. Still need to do more research as to which parameters and what values.
