Point is to retain the 135i calipers. Are the OE M3 CSL rotors plug and play both front and rear?

Do you know what the rotor weighs and how much the adapter weighs?

Both adapter and rotor are lighter, the adapter being way lighter because aluminum.
And the rotor is 345x28mm instead of oem 338x28mm, all pretty well documented on here. |

Update on RB 2pc rear rotor construction. Also cleaned up and edited the original post. Lets get these last 2 so we can get the kits.

To be completely honest it's going to get to a point where I'll have to do a brake job and choose something. Hopefully the RB option is available at that point, but at this rate, who knows.

Got an email from RB tonight. Looks like we may be a go and front rotors in stock or coming in stock. Rear rotors out of stock but short term, read: orderable. Going to confirm with them.

You may want to research other options. I know in the E30 world RB's were generally panned for failing quickly on track and then RB turning around and saying "just because we sell our parts as track capable doesn't mean you should actually use them, sorry."

Got any links to substantiate that? Genuinely want to read the accounts of that if so.

I believe they were VW Corrado rotors (larger and still vented than stock E30 front brakes) for the guys that were doing the RX-7 based BBKs. Perhaps their quality is up since then, no idea, I understand problems happen it was more their response to the issue. |

It seems getting clarification that the rotors do not have a disclaimer saying they are not for racing would be the best thing. That way if there is an issue, you don't need to be concerned about a voided warranty.
I can tell you my friend has both front and rears and had zero issues stopping from 155+ mph at the last half mile event we went to, and it was 95+ degrees. He also consistently brake boosts and just overall beats the shit out of his brakes and has not had one issue. His OEM rotors, on multiple occasions with the same treatment, either warped or started showing hairline cracks. He would also get a soft pedal.
